This is a really cool log that was magically at the lake that was at the southern tip of the park. it was so FREEZZZZING. this ice that froze on the log was fantastic though. the tone of this picture is very nice with the blues and aquas. i set this up so the log was diagonal and led into the picture. the shutter speed was lowered here as well so that i could get the motion of the waves which i like. my camera settings for this picture were aperature: 22, shutter speed: 1/8, ISO: 100, and focal length: 18 mm. </div>

this is a picture at one of the thermal feature sites that we walk around on the trail at. this log was just really cool and it was in a water thing that curved in an S shape that leads into the photo. i was using my polarizer for this photo. my camera settings on my Canon EOS Rebel T3 were aperature: 22, shutter speed: 1/90, ISO: 800, and focal length: 18 mm.</div>

This was at two moon park in the waters of the Yellowstone River. The camera settings on my Canon EOS Rebel T3 were, Aperature: 18, Shutter speed: 1/1250, ISO: 6400, and focal length: 45 mm. if i took this picture again i would turn down the ISO and adjust the light accordingly. when i edited this photo i made the oranges slightly more vibrant and adjusted the exposure down just a touch.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wwRsy0xTV9s/UJxQo2XVsnI/AAAAAAAAAPs/3mi96XrzjHQ/s1600/IMG_1374.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wwRsy0xTV9s/UJxQo2XVsnI/AAAAAAAAAPs/3mi96XrzjHQ/s320/IMG_1374.jpg" width="213" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
This is also at two moon park. this beaver den was left on the shore after the huge flooding in the park the summer beforehand. i toned down the saturation in the greens on the front of the picture and turned up the saturation in the trees of the background. the whole picture was also slightly overexposed so i fixed that. my settings for this picture on my Canon EOS Rebel T3 were aperature: 13, shutter speed: 1/1250, ISO: 6400, and focal length: 20 mm.</div>

<div align="center">
This is my little Sprinkle :). she was playing in the corn stalks one day so i decided to try to get a good photo of her. i like that the stalks of the corn frame the picture and draw you into the main subject. i think i will crop this photo also a little bit in the foreground. the settings on my Canon EOS Rebel T3 were aperature: 11, shutter speed: 1/350, ISO: 800, and focal length: 27 mm.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div align="center">
This is in my back yard with the fall leaves on the ground. i liked the lighting and thought the picture would look cool. the picture was a bit overexposed so i turned that down slightly and i also upped the green and orange saturation a little bit. i also cropped the top portion so that only the leaves were the subject. the settings on my Canon EOS Rebel T3 were aperature: 32, shutter speed: 1/30, ISO:3200, and focal length: 49 mm.</div>

<div align="center">
This photo is in my mother's flower garden on a fall day. i did not have a polarizer to use at this time of the photo so in lightroom i did my best to outline the petals and desaturate the yellow just slightly so there wasnt any glare on the yellow. i also thought the yellow beneath the flower was distracting so i desaturated that slightly. there was a lighter color in the background and a distracting other flower behind this main one so i cropped those distracting elements out so the main focus could be on my pretty yellow flower. my settings on my Canon EOS Rebel T3 were aperature: 4.5, shutter speed: 1/320, ISO: 100, and focal length: 30 mm.</div>

<div align="center">
This photo was on the rims the day after our first snow storm this year overlooking the city of Billings and the clouds were so beautiful that i couldnt help but stop and take a few pictures. The sun is slightly overexposed but the sky's color is really beautiful. i turned down the exposure a little bit on this photo and played with the blues only a little bit. also sharpened the photo so the clouds would really stand out. there was a phone pole in the photo originally too so i took that out in photo shop. my settings on my Canon EOS Rebel T3 were aperature: 5.6, shutter speed: 1/4000, ISO: 400, and focal length: 18 mm.</div>

<div align="center">
This photo is from our Yellowstone National Park trip for the class on october 27-28th. this one i like how the trees on the side fram the picture to make it seem like you are peeking in on a secret lake. the greens were saturated a little bit more in this photo to make the green on the lake come out more. my settings on my Canon EOS Rebel T3 were aperature: 22, shutter speed: 1/15, ISO: 200, and focal length: 18 mm.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div align="center">
This picture is also from the Yellowstone National Park trip. i messed with the greens on this one but somehow it just doesnt look like Dave's version. i feel like the photo looks like it is muted a bit and im just not really sure how to pull that feeling out and make this photo pop and really catch your eye. this image looked really cool in real life and i like that i was able to capture the pretty trees and the green water thing next to them as well as the thermal feature too. the composure of the image is nice i just feel like something is missing. my settings on my Canon EOS Rebel T3 were aperature: 22, Shutter speed: 1/15, ISO: 200, and focal length: 20 mm. i did use a polarizer with this photo.</div>

Yellowstone 10/27-10/28/2012</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This photo is looking over a meadow. I love the way the sun is over the tree. The tree is not centered so the rule of thirds is working for me here. My camera is a Canon EOS Rebel T3, it was in manual exposure, shutter speed: 1/750, Aperature: 9.5, ISO: 400. The focal length was 18mm with my 58mm lense. I used my new polarizer for the first time on this trip so i love how the reflections on the snow are reduced.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xGCzuhck_Xk/UJCxR0tUgAI/AAAAAAAAAO8/JuypJWEEEHE/s1600/IMG_2424.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-xGCzuhck_Xk/UJCxR0tUgAI/AAAAAAAAAO8/JuypJWEEEHE/s400/IMG_2424.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is one of the thermal features at Yellowstone National Park. I made this photo have a little more color in the greens and yellows as well as the brown in the back trees. I also used my polarizer on my Canon EOS Rebel T3 in this photo and my 58mm lense. It was taken in manual exposure with shutter speed: 1/15, aperature:22, ISO: 200 and a focal length of 21mm. I like how the thermal feature is not quite centered. The weather was freezing so the steam was great and it really took some patience to get a good photo where you could see the colors of the thermal feature because of the steam. I also like the trees in the back being all straight up and dark to give a great background element that is not distracting.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
WOOHOO a RAW data photo. when i first got my camera i was doing a wedding shoot and i had it set to raw and couldnt figure out how to convert them to JPG for the bride so i changed the whole setting of my camera to just take JPG. however this is a terrible idea because it limits rescueing photos greatly. the pathway in this photo goes slightly diagonally and is therefore attractive to the eye. also the moody sky is great too. i could lighten this photo up a bit in lightroom and make her a beauty.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-e8CIPMFpiKM/UH8EWIKsZXI/AAAAAAAAANY/DHEOpPJUq5w/s1600/IMG_9208.CR2" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-e8CIPMFpiKM/UH8EWIKsZXI/AAAAAAAAANY/DHEOpPJUq5w/s320/IMG_9208.CR2" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
i love this picture and it is also a RAW. the colors are awesome with the most attractive pinks and oranges in the center to draw you into the picture. also the ice is just melting so there in the front is some ice which i think is a nice filler in the front corner without being super distracting.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AIVXcJUMJ-g/UH8EhUUb2kI/AAAAAAAAANo/UpW68bXInEM/s1600/IMG_9249.CR2" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AIVXcJUMJ-g/UH8EhUUb2kI/AAAAAAAAANo/UpW68bXInEM/s320/IMG_9249.CR2" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
the front foreground of this photo on the side is filling in great. the angles of the sides and back all point directly to the center of the photo and takes the viewer into the photo. the pinks and oranges are attractive compared to the blue which draws you to the center. the reflection is peaceful and nice to look at also.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VQZAArDCUj8/UH8EoJzqL5I/AAAAAAAAANw/kOHIVv9FcZc/s1600/IMG_9327.CR2" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VQZAArDCUj8/UH8EoJzqL5I/AAAAAAAAANw/kOHIVv9FcZc/s320/IMG_9327.CR2" width="213" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
im not sure that the branch in the top right corner of the photo is quite placed right because the eye follows it and goes out, especially since the sky is bright at the top too. if this photo was edited i could hopefully save some of the trail on the bottom portion of the photo to make it lighter and show its curvy nature and make this photo lead you into it instead of out of it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cDM_Ol3aimM/UH8EwasKk-I/AAAAAAAAAOA/9ym3Z8dnTWc/s1600/IMG_9328.CR2" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-cDM_Ol3aimM/UH8EwasKk-I/AAAAAAAAAOA/9ym3Z8dnTWc/s320/IMG_9328.CR2" width="213" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
the trail of this photo is great here. it seems like it is just barely poking out from under the leaves. when seeing the trail i feel like i uncovered a secret. i like how the sky pokes out a little at the top but isnt so much that it is all that is interesting in this photo. the front tree could have had a few distracting things removed from it however. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
clouds are gorgeous in montana. these storm clouds are so billowy and huge that they give you a light feeling and pop so well on the blue of the beautiful sky. the white may be a bit blown out in this photo and a polarizer is a good idea here but overall the white on the darker sky blue is very attractive to the eye and draws a viewer in. something else could be added but im not really sure what to keep the viewer looking at the image a bit longer. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
this photo really stops my breath. the colors are pretty and they draw you in and relax you. the motion in the clouds give this photo a whispy feeling and is very heavenly. the fact that the motion is from the top to the middle of the photo is great because it draws you right into tht middle of the photo and then leaves your eye to wander.</div>

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-twXLv6Y2264/UH8EAqIlN2I/AAAAAAAAAMs/KyAoAHv_BrQ/s1600/fire+hydrant.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-twXLv6Y2264/UH8EAqIlN2I/AAAAAAAAAMs/KyAoAHv_BrQ/s320/fire+hydrant.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This photo is not exactly nature focused however it is a piece of interest which i can appreciate. it shows you how maybe a cute little neighborhood is and makes you stop and appreciate little things.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1qMlhbZMtgY/UH8ECehVDQI/AAAAAAAAAM0/uV-R3hadFX8/s1600/fire.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-1qMlhbZMtgY/UH8ECehVDQI/AAAAAAAAAM0/uV-R3hadFX8/s320/fire.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
this still life photo is fantastic. i love this picture and how the motion is caught in the fire and the little blur left still gives you the sense of the fires whicking motion. the colors are really great and the blue background is very contrasting so it pops out the main focus of the fire and its reds and oranges. i may crop out the red fire flare at the top.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4_OigcNcUiU/UH8Ex0GUAvI/AAAAAAAAAOM/C0bKtaylxx4/s1600/tall+things+(2).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-4_OigcNcUiU/UH8Ex0GUAvI/AAAAAAAAAOM/C0bKtaylxx4/s320/tall+things+(2).JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
this is not nature either however it is still cool and incorporates awesome clouds in the background. the fact that this whole photo is an overall grey shade really sets the tone of the composition. this can be an example of setting a mood in your photography and this can be applied to nature compositions.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-aPjrQdCrtXA/UH8EySnPUyI/AAAAAAAAAOU/1V6hb7dtuJA/s1600/tall+things+(3).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-aPjrQdCrtXA/UH8EySnPUyI/AAAAAAAAAOU/1V6hb7dtuJA/s320/tall+things+(3).JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
this is the same photo just with the camera being held horizontally instead of vertically so it catches the same mood/tone. the oblique angles are very attractive and draw the eye.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tyBk9eXJPa8/UH8Ezjl6MBI/AAAAAAAAAOc/T8w468i4x0Y/s1600/tall+things.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-tyBk9eXJPa8/UH8Ezjl6MBI/AAAAAAAAAOc/T8w468i4x0Y/s320/tall+things.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
this is a color image of the tall things from the previous two photos. the fact that they line up across the photo is attractive and leads you into the photo. also the big to small size is attractive. the color red is great for this composition especially since the sky is grey. red is the most attractive color to humans. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TYm9aOtNJfE/UH8E0EQfTnI/AAAAAAAAAOg/wAJo76q0FM4/s1600/very+cool+with+water.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TYm9aOtNJfE/UH8E0EQfTnI/AAAAAAAAAOg/wAJo76q0FM4/s320/very+cool+with+water.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
this photo is great because it is at night so the light is gonna catch your eye right away and attract you to it. the reflection is awesome and gives a little bit of a ghosty feel to it. the center focus is also reds, yellows and oranges that draws you in immediately and then the rest of the photo has lights and rippling effect to keep you looking around the photo more to keep the viewer engaged.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
i love this picture even though it isnt nature photography...i took this somewhere in minesota and the reflection is what inspired me. this picture is a great vision for my nature photos because it has a pretty blue sky and a pretty blue reflection on the water, as well as clouds. just imagine the building as an amazing mountain, and this would be a great photo for me.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-H57EyJdujQI/UH8CLSwDrSI/AAAAAAAAAMc/wmMKuM7irWE/s1600/bridge+sunset+fav.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-H57EyJdujQI/UH8CLSwDrSI/AAAAAAAAAMc/wmMKuM7irWE/s320/bridge+sunset+fav.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
this picture i like alot although there are lights reflecting on the windshield i tried to take it through. oops. the idea is what i like here with the pretty lighting and the sun rays and the bridge. it kind of stops life for you and sometimes that is what is best about a photo because stopping life for a moment is allureing and can never happen. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
i got these birds in flight formation with a crappy point and shoot camera. considering i didnt have a telephoto lense or any kind of a fancy camer i am pretty pleased with this photo. if taken again i would go for more focus because i am sure that the birds are blurry here and also a better background. i would hope that the sky would cooperate and have beautiful blue and puffy clouds but you can only ask for so much.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This picture draws you in because the orange is very attractive but the purple is also very contrasting. This was taking in a butterfly garden. the pattern of the flowers all being parallel and upward also adds to it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GaHiREhlPfQ/UGNTfmmCoeI/AAAAAAAAAKo/jS6hd23qTLc/s1600/1454.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GaHiREhlPfQ/UGNTfmmCoeI/AAAAAAAAAKo/jS6hd23qTLc/s320/1454.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The red flowers in the background here are slightly distracting but the contrast of the red on the butterfly and the purple on the flowers is attractive, especially since the red in the middle of the purple flowers matches the red on the wings of the butterfly. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Bp4nuWjQOZ0/UGNTiIT-75I/AAAAAAAAAKw/6C66A4E24z4/s1600/1455.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Bp4nuWjQOZ0/UGNTiIT-75I/AAAAAAAAAKw/6C66A4E24z4/s320/1455.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This picture could easily be cropped to eliminate the distracting elements of teh edges of the photo and i think it would be a fantastic photo of the butterfly. the soft lighting helped alot here. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I like this picture because i has the fence which leads you through the picture and the horses are all lined up in a diagonal pattern. also the pretty mountains in the background add alot. i might zoom out slightly if i had the chance to take this picture again just to get more skyline in it. this picture gives you a feeling of country.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
These were at a flower gallery and i think this turned out well with three flowers being the main subject instead of just one flower. Also i am pleased with myself having focused pretty well. The color could have been a bit better though. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
This picture has pretty colors although a polarizing filter would have been helpful on the ends of the petals. i like how the flowers focused and the back blurred.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Hvj7oGAqn1M/UGNNcOMdubI/AAAAAAAAAJI/uvOTYB_lCPk/s1600/1169.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Hvj7oGAqn1M/UGNNcOMdubI/AAAAAAAAAJI/uvOTYB_lCPk/s320/1169.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
i dont think this picture is especially fantastic i just like the way the colors are so bright on top of the green. i would really like to work on my pictures being more focused up close and very blurred in the background.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-08noQatrXsQ/UGNNng809pI/AAAAAAAAAJY/okPuFx1044U/s1600/heart+flower+hole.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-08noQatrXsQ/UGNNng809pI/AAAAAAAAAJY/okPuFx1044U/s320/heart+flower+hole.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
i love the color in this flower. and if you notice-the hole in the bottom center one is heart shaped. small details like this look great on computer screens.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-05cqQfla0EM/UGNNwY5K6vI/AAAAAAAAAJg/BeSlSuYDb_E/s1600/perfect+pink+flower.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-05cqQfla0EM/UGNNwY5K6vI/AAAAAAAAAJg/BeSlSuYDb_E/s320/perfect+pink+flower.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
this flower is so simple but has perfect lines and great yellow details sticking out from the middle. a little more green in the background would have been better because the background is very distracting in this photo.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6BlmPag7U40/UGNNz3neAxI/AAAAAAAAAJo/n_j6lYZGKAw/s1600/rose+(2).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6BlmPag7U40/UGNNz3neAxI/AAAAAAAAAJo/n_j6lYZGKAw/s320/rose+(2).JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
i dont know that this picture is as focused as it could be however i still love it. the color red is so alluring and this pops with pretty curves that swirl into the middle drawing the eyes to follow to the middle. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-na2a07lV6dY/UGNN59yclpI/AAAAAAAAAJw/imb02JnvvS4/s1600/WOW+(4).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-na2a07lV6dY/UGNN59yclpI/AAAAAAAAAJw/imb02JnvvS4/s320/WOW+(4).JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This picture is of some gorgeous daisies or something and they are yellow onthe outside and purple on the inside. i changed it to black and white to illustrate the colors contrasting eachother without the distraction of the actual colors being in the picture. i think each flower pops more this way because the white in the middle draws your attention. also nothing is really the center of interest which brings you through the photo. rule of thirds... </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FIFBxLfKfFI/UGNN8zHy1iI/AAAAAAAAAJ4/wgsUWhGyQys/s1600/252.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-FIFBxLfKfFI/UGNN8zHy1iI/AAAAAAAAAJ4/wgsUWhGyQys/s320/252.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div align="center">
These contrasting colors do a great job of making each other pop. green pink and yellow all are very good together and attractive. the two yellow and pink flowers could draw away from each other because the focus is split between two but i think the two plain pink flowers balance this out and almost cancel that split attention effect.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-S-LTnP7zPsM/UGNOAy0o2oI/AAAAAAAAAKA/76f6L-9sQ64/s1600/rose+fav+ever.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-S-LTnP7zPsM/UGNOAy0o2oI/AAAAAAAAAKA/76f6L-9sQ64/s320/rose+fav+ever.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This picture was taken with just a sliver of light left of the day and therefore the picture quality is subdued slightly. however i like this because it makes all the colors softer and more focused on the red inthe center. also the back is very dark and doesnt have much it can do to distract which is good.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This picture is at Wild Bill Lake in Red Lodge by the campgrounds. it is pretty much the same as the other picture but i stepped back. now the picture has an extra dock on the right and the front of the dock im standing on. the colors on the water are also slightly more saturated. i love these pictures so much it was so fantastic to see this and the photos turned out great. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-t5Y6xdWZEB8/UFpfnBN-ODI/AAAAAAAAAIY/ldO9wg9JmGk/s1600/IMG_0924.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-t5Y6xdWZEB8/UFpfnBN-ODI/AAAAAAAAAIY/ldO9wg9JmGk/s320/IMG_0924.JPG" width="213" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This was while fishing the friday before school started. i love that the sky is so blue and the logs in the foreground are interesting. the mountain is the main subject but the rest of the photo is great too.</div>

These are some pictures that remind me that i love living in montana because it is so gorgeous and you can only go a little ways and get great pics of mountains or go in your backyard and find fantastic views.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-E3QO0xNoDFM/UFpQzlLDEzI/AAAAAAAAAGM/iWTbLXmJwzA/s1600/307.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-E3QO0xNoDFM/UFpQzlLDEzI/AAAAAAAAAGM/iWTbLXmJwzA/s320/307.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm not sure which mountains these are but i love that you get a sense of the vastness of montana and the clouds are at the top of the mountains which make it mysterious. i think this pic maybe could use some small lightening touches but otherwise im pleased.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7xJd08IyCkM/UFpQ73gyDgI/AAAAAAAAAGU/xMUWzbXgRws/s1600/029+%25283%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7xJd08IyCkM/UFpQ73gyDgI/AAAAAAAAAGU/xMUWzbXgRws/s320/029+%25283%2529.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This picture is at red lodge by the campgrounds or East Rose Bud and when i first saw this picture i thought i should have zoomed out to get a mirroring effect. while i do wish i had another picture with the full wide angle view, i still love this one and keep going back to it for some reason. i think the upside down illusion is alluring to the eye especially since the top is missing somewhat.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-eVg7DaP18Gg/UFpREZz7DfI/AAAAAAAAAGc/kHqQL4kvn4o/s1600/035.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-eVg7DaP18Gg/UFpREZz7DfI/AAAAAAAAAGc/kHqQL4kvn4o/s320/035.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is also at East Rose Bud i believe and i love this picture with the pretty blues and the mountain just looks massive. it's humbling to see how small we really are.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HKUfs4EyiLc/UFpRKQaz1AI/AAAAAAAAAGk/SCwpSBueRq0/s1600/036.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-HKUfs4EyiLc/UFpRKQaz1AI/AAAAAAAAAGk/SCwpSBueRq0/s320/036.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This picture was in East Rose Bud from the backyard of the cabin we were staying in. This is what i mean when i say i love montana because look at what we get just outside our doors. This picture i think is a good rule of thirds example because the main focus of the picture is in the top with the mountain but you also have the water in the bottom which is most interesting at the most foreground since it is lighter there. the picture is also cut vertically into thirds as well but the channel that the water follows goes around a bend in almost the center of the photo. all of these characteristics make this picture very interesting to look at. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vcW74qbEiUI/UFpRUd1-CUI/AAAAAAAAAGs/QJwMp0TQ2aA/s1600/037.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vcW74qbEiUI/UFpRUd1-CUI/AAAAAAAAAGs/QJwMp0TQ2aA/s320/037.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
East Rose Bud again. this also is cut into thirds with water, mountains, and sky horizontally, and mountains, light on sky and water, and mountains vertically. the green plays in nicely with the blues and the light plays in nicely with the darks and the mountains opposite of each other draw to the center of the photo which draws the viewer in. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ReRWNkj3jPg/UFpRcCNWu2I/AAAAAAAAAG0/1p6tjYr1Wxw/s1600/040.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="239" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ReRWNkj3jPg/UFpRcCNWu2I/AAAAAAAAAG0/1p6tjYr1Wxw/s320/040.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
East Rose Bud...This place is so gorgeous with so many fantastic different views. I like how this picture has so much foreground and then awesome mountains in the background with great blue on the sky and water. the touch of clouds in the sky adds a bit of personality too in my opinion. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DJ7FZAEHr1g/UFpRzk6nl_I/AAAAAAAAAHI/PYYWzLres5o/s1600/796.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-DJ7FZAEHr1g/UFpRzk6nl_I/AAAAAAAAAHI/PYYWzLres5o/s320/796.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
East Rose Bud. i wish the sky was blue here but you cant have everything right? i love the diagonal lines here. the two mountains cross each other for a great effect.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RuuMGeUNmm4/UFpRi-imUlI/AAAAAAAAAHA/t8tgzQfAOAk/s1600/189.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-RuuMGeUNmm4/UFpRi-imUlI/AAAAAAAAAHA/t8tgzQfAOAk/s320/189.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I dont know where this was...some moutain pass somewhere in montana is my best guess from my recollection. i like this because it is so big with a little bit of interest inthe foreground, middle ground and background. blue sky is nice but oh well. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FT_fj1xsNN4/UFpSMWdoHrI/AAAAAAAAAHg/A6RM83AD3DU/s1600/1040.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FT_fj1xsNN4/UFpSMWdoHrI/AAAAAAAAAHg/A6RM83AD3DU/s320/1040.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I love this picture which is right across the street from my dads house. the clouds being so interesting and colorful is a great attribute plus the fence in the middle is very interesting. and when you look into the plains you see farming and horses with green and tan grasses as well as a little bit of some hills on the horizon. all together i love this picture and i am so pleased with how the angle of the fence added to it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HOD6lEepjkY/UFpSHFkGWuI/AAAAAAAAAHY/TwTrTGlPeEQ/s1600/1039.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-HOD6lEepjkY/UFpSHFkGWuI/AAAAAAAAAHY/TwTrTGlPeEQ/s320/1039.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is at Wild Bill Lake in Red Lodge Outside of the campgrounds. i love that the mountain looks so huge here. the clouds being so low is a great reason it looks so big and they add so much to the pretty blue sky. the blue in the sky is more bright than the blue on the water which is not usually my problem so its nice to have that reversed for once. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3YR5d5xoM_Y/UFpSBGFA_KI/AAAAAAAAAHQ/IxEzhzGSqL8/s1600/817.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3YR5d5xoM_Y/UFpSBGFA_KI/AAAAAAAAAHQ/IxEzhzGSqL8/s320/817.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
East Rose Bud. It was getting very dark when i took this picture so its not of the greatest quality. what i love about this one is the composition of it. blue in the sky, and blue one the water. snow in the mountains and clouds in the sky. diagonal angles and mountain ranges...all great attributes to make this picture one of my favorites. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-BBEel0kqX7c/UFpSVLaUhvI/AAAAAAAAAH0/dnj8Iq2ZZuA/s1600/breathtaking.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-BBEel0kqX7c/UFpSVLaUhvI/AAAAAAAAAH0/dnj8Iq2ZZuA/s320/breathtaking.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is one of the pictures i was trying to find from Wild Bill Lake at the Red Lodge campgrounds. we made it to the lake super early in the morning. (so the trick about getting to your shoot before the sun rises works.) The fog had not yet risen and it was traveling onto the lake from the mountains the whole time we were there. if you look at the picture two above this one you will see just how dense this fog was because it is hiding this massive mountain right behind it. it was so majestic. i hope i get to capture another picture like this one some day and get more vivid colors since this was taken with my Canon point and shoot. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-76JxUxULwaI/UFpSSzv5hpI/AAAAAAAAAHo/ta9qDZr6EWY/s1600/and+the+vastness...it+swallows+me+whole.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-76JxUxULwaI/UFpSSzv5hpI/AAAAAAAAAHo/ta9qDZr6EWY/s320/and+the+vastness...it+swallows+me+whole.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This picture is a few years ago driving to Shepherd i believe. The cumulous clouds were fantastic and the perpendicular lines added a great contrast in green. im very happy with this photo that i was moving so fast while taking and it turned out great still.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I love the color of the sky on the water and i really wish the sky matched on the top. also i seemed to have gone through a phase where i thought it was super cool to take pictures of fantastic photos of reflections and not get the whole picture but only the reflection. this is driving me crazy cuz so many photos could have been so much better if i would have just zoomed out and gotten the image and its reflection...lesson learned</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Uh3gjt9AqoA/UFft0zqqpNI/AAAAAAAAAEk/X3gvRUEnnqA/s1600/1067.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Uh3gjt9AqoA/UFft0zqqpNI/AAAAAAAAAEk/X3gvRUEnnqA/s320/1067.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>

once again the sky is fantastic on the water and not in the sky itself. how can i fix this. light is really a challenge for me.</div>

what a cute puppy. her name is coconut. i love this adorable pictue and she posed just perfectly for me and the grass had to be in the way of course and reflect like crazy. i really wish i had a polarized filter for this example.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This picture is great and the reflection is cool and all but seriously the reflection is not so cool without seeing what it is reflecting. what was i thinking? i think ill work on getting a more wide angle for sure.</div>

Great picture...terrible exposure and focus. I love this idea and i guess i just didnt understand how to make the camera represent what i was seeing like i wanted it to. I will make up for this in Yellowstone :).</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Rainbows are a massive challenge for me. They never seem to come through on the film the way you see their magnificence in real life. I need to work on how to get better color saturation although i think the lighting here is good.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-K8R03-tN-Lk/UFfvLpDHCcI/AAAAAAAAAFo/2s53A3kOIN8/s1600/rainbow.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-K8R03-tN-Lk/UFfvLpDHCcI/AAAAAAAAAFo/2s53A3kOIN8/s320/rainbow.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This was taken behind Skyview High School in Billings and i dont particularly like anything about this picture besides the idea i had in my head for it to look like. I want my sun pictures to turn out fabulous and they never do....i dont even know how this ended up red. light is fighting me and I am going to focus my efforts on beating it.</div>

Ok guys so here are some things I want to improve on as far as photography. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KLX9YmiWVPE/UFfl0Lbr09I/AAAAAAAAAD8/VxcUm9jA8Is/s1600/bambi.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-KLX9YmiWVPE/UFfl0Lbr09I/AAAAAAAAAD8/VxcUm9jA8Is/s320/bambi.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This picture i feel like has some serious potential. The deer are positioned very nicely with nice foliage to fram the picture and I just didn't make it happen. If given this opportunity again I would zoom in a bit more and make sure that everything was in focus. If you look closely, you can see that there is light in the deers' eyes from my flash which ruins the whole thing; I would definently use no flash for this moment and adjust aperature, shutter speed and ISO accordingly to make this a great picture to hang on my wall.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vCYSo4kccUM/UFfk4914EJI/AAAAAAAAADc/lbpRcls5BCA/s1600/163.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vCYSo4kccUM/UFfk4914EJI/AAAAAAAAADc/lbpRcls5BCA/s320/163.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I like the idea of this picture but the sky isnt blue enough for me and the water is too shiny. So for improvement suggestions i think i would use a polarizing filter as well as a density filter to balance the sky from the water and the sun's rays. also i think i should have been more patient and gotten some clouds in this picture to spice it up a bit because i get bored looking at it with such a bland sky.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-KKTsyrtwC98/UFfloW7XRUI/AAAAAAAAAD0/hataVL1OvlQ/s1600/1106.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-KKTsyrtwC98/UFfloW7XRUI/AAAAAAAAAD0/hataVL1OvlQ/s320/1106.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This one was pretty cool, although i blew out the entire bottom. I can't really remember taking this picture because it was such a long time ago but maybe i could have shaded it somehow or used a filter to make it not so harsh and gotten a good photo of a spider web that got all tattered and caught up. It could have been a picture that was cool cuz it isnt the average perfect dew covered spider web you are expecting to see in a picture.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-06hs83XCKgU/UFflW-TJEnI/AAAAAAAAADs/hl-RKUmWvHI/s1600/1100+%25282%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-06hs83XCKgU/UFflW-TJEnI/AAAAAAAAADs/hl-RKUmWvHI/s320/1100+%25282%2529.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The idea behind this picture was good i think but i would have liked to have gotten a better balance between the light and dark which i really have no idea how to do. The color i am pleased with because the saturation of the foliage is great and really pops i just wish it didnt look like the sky is white behind it.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--_y1DioRDKg/UFflAs5kPCI/AAAAAAAAADk/YX3At1gWI-k/s1600/947.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--_y1DioRDKg/UFflAs5kPCI/AAAAAAAAADk/YX3At1gWI-k/s320/947.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This photo was so good in my camera in Cody when i took it and reviewed it and fantastic in real life. i wanted to do it justice and get a great photo but when i got it on my computer it wasnt as great as i thought. Im really struggling with getting the sun to look good in pictures because wasted pictures like this one drive me crazy. it would have been such a fabulous shadow effect with the nest and clouds and blue white and black. I think this is gonna be a theme for my final presentation content...</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fAr2_rtvtG0/UFfktoAwovI/AAAAAAAAADU/lEXO2d_9H0o/s1600/116+%25282%2529.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fAr2_rtvtG0/UFfktoAwovI/AAAAAAAAADU/lEXO2d_9H0o/s320/116+%25282%2529.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This picture i feel like i had the right idea and it almost worked. The angle of the picture is pleasing to me and i like the colors and how saturated they are and how they pop out. once again the problem is the light in the back and making it balance but not losing the fantastic colors. Someone help me.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Bg0l6_WlTy4/UFfkioG7thI/AAAAAAAAADI/p0BR8b8dnSM/s1600/062.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Bg0l6_WlTy4/UFfkioG7thI/AAAAAAAAADI/p0BR8b8dnSM/s320/062.JPG" width="239" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The deer is super cute from a cabin we were staying in. i love the idea of this photo. a little deer poking out of the woods just hanging out with very conveniently placed trees to frame his pretty face. i sure hope this photo can be fixed up cuz i like it alot, i just dont like the light much. If i could take this again i would probably start out by slowing the shutter speed and changing the ISO lower and then accordingly adjust the aperature and go from there.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-lNW5_uZQkPI/UFfkRkSbtRI/AAAAAAAAADA/Tmz12ipC7H4/s1600/022.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-lNW5_uZQkPI/UFfkRkSbtRI/AAAAAAAAADA/Tmz12ipC7H4/s320/022.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This picture is from the same place as the last one at the cabin. i like everything about it except that it is blurry and the sky is blown out. there is no reason the sky should have been blown out because it was almost dark...i have no idea what happened but i sure am willing to try again.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
i love this picture because the color focuses your eyes right away to the yellow arrows but from there you wander to the road. the winding of the road takes you through the whole photo. this still life did a great job of stopping you in your tracks.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-usELfVf4URE/UFJkoIbeYgI/AAAAAAAAACM/IPG3hO0ZXbU/s1600/DSCN6477.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-usELfVf4URE/UFJkoIbeYgI/AAAAAAAAACM/IPG3hO0ZXbU/s320/DSCN6477.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
i like the focus of this photo. the peaceful nature image in the back and the broken rotting pipe in the front reminds you that life is ever changing. its great contrast is what keeps you interested, as well as the fact that there is no focus on anything in the center of the photo.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wmimJb_v-HQ/UFJkqVSi3FI/AAAAAAAAACU/PwoUo8_ERAI/s1600/entropy.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wmimJb_v-HQ/UFJkqVSi3FI/AAAAAAAAACU/PwoUo8_ERAI/s320/entropy.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This photo is pretty much the same as the last but there is a lot more color behind this one since the point of perspective is changed. i think this makes it very smooth through the whole photo.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fuI5E4mhRA0/UFJktvH9fpI/AAAAAAAAACc/AgszSGjXFoE/s1600/marbles+in+bottom+of+glass+jar.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="228" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fuI5E4mhRA0/UFJktvH9fpI/AAAAAAAAACc/AgszSGjXFoE/s320/marbles+in+bottom+of+glass+jar.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I dont really have anything i can point out on this picture but i love it. maybe its the focus of this picture that is why i love it. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-pqN46NFCIp8/UFJkvBrDfvI/AAAAAAAAACk/vMXGcrxBgjQ/s1600/soilders.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-pqN46NFCIp8/UFJkvBrDfvI/AAAAAAAAACk/vMXGcrxBgjQ/s320/soilders.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
the way that this photo focuses is why i like this picture. it shows the details of life that you usually dont stop to see which is a great way to focus your photography.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This waterfall is my absolute favorite place in the world. I cannot remember what it is called but it's about a mile long hike straight up to get to it and it is fantastic. I took my senior pictures here and also dropped my old Canon down this waterfall. (it still works, Canon is the way to go) I love the idea of a waterfall picture but it seems that at the point of me taking this picture i did not understand how to adjust for light or take fast enough pictures with the shutter speed and consequently i blew out alot of it and didnt catch fantastic color like dave does. so, this is my goal: i would like to learn how to take fantastic pictures during this semster so that i can return to this waterfall and get the most breathtaking photo i have thus far.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This photo is just near my house. i took it last spring just after the snow was melting. I went for a walk with my boyfriend and ended up taking pictures of great things. This little creek ran next to the road and presented itself with a great opportunity; when i saw the pipe i thought it would be great to snap a picture of. Now that i know how to adjust for light and depth of field, it will be alot easier to make my camera focus in shots like these. I love this picture because i feel like i am drawn toward the light and it seems so serene at the other end.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VG7uZXHYfko/UE_UYOLivzI/AAAAAAAAABA/8B2vdzVSDc4/s1600/504.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VG7uZXHYfko/UE_UYOLivzI/AAAAAAAAABA/8B2vdzVSDc4/s320/504.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This photo was taken with my teeny point and shoot canon a few years back at river front park or two moon. It was so gorgeous with birds, clouds and colored light, and with no wind on the water i couldnt help but snap pictures. i like this because the water is so perfectly still and the colors of the sky are beautiful although i could have lived without the pipe hanging out. ill take what i can get though concidering the farthest i go for photography is red lodge :)</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-SKstVVcu_0g/UE_UuDcdOwI/AAAAAAAAABI/oqfas9jcuZk/s1600/506.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-SKstVVcu_0g/UE_UuDcdOwI/AAAAAAAAABI/oqfas9jcuZk/s320/506.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This photo was also taken at river front park i believe. My little point and shoot took this guy. I was inspired to take this picture by a photo my aunt took of her daughter who was walking down this path many years ago. She has since passed away and so i visited this spot in her memory and took pictures. I am more than pleased at how this turned out, as i feel it keeps your attention throughout the entire photo and the light quality isnt too shabby either.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm not sure where this photo was taken but my point and shoot Canon did this one as well. The sky really added alot to this photo for me. I like that it wasnt just water and sky but also a little grass in the foreground and trees in the background too. I think this adds alot to the picture. Also i dont know that i blew out anything in this one which is good news.</div>
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This photo was taken on the way back from Salt Lake City, UT after my brother's brain surgery. I was sleeping on and off during the ride so unfortunately i have no idea where we are in the trip at this point and no way of knowing which mountain range this is. This picture is pretty because it really gives you a sense of movement even though it is still. The road is running away from you as you head to your destination but the mountains still let you have some serenity and enjoy nature. I think that's really what we all are looking for, is getting things done but still enjoying ourselves. I think i caught that here.</div>
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This last one was shot with my Canon EOS Rebel T3 last spring at the Yellowstone River in Two Moon Park, one of my favorite places to shoot in Billings. When i saw this tree, i knew i had to have a picture of it. the pretty sky, with clouds all about was great. Different colors in the ground added a great deal to this photo. I am especially pleased with the color of the blue in the sky because this photo was taken without any filters or any editing afterwards.</div>

This photo, shot with my Canon EOS Rebel T3, was taken at Cooney Dam in Montana. This photo was taken at sunset on August 18th, 2012. The colors of sunset are what are so alluring for photographers. The photograph shown here really worked for me because the waves addd contrast to the empty sky and the colors bring out character along the middle of the picture.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8372957147733136670.post-32631875822250400612012-09-04T18:07:00.000-07:002012-09-06T13:32:22.011-07:00First Post<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This is a picture taken the friday before school started, August 24th, 2012, from Wild Bill Lake in Red Lodge, MT. It was taken with a Canon EOS Rebel T3. This spot is a great area to take pictures because it is only about an hour away from Billings and also has flowers a lake and other mountain tops to capture. In the mornings there is mist sometimes which make for fabulous photographs. i liked this specific picture because the foreground is interesting as well as the background with a great view so the eye really travels all over the photograph.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0
